Cottage Overview

SPECIAL FEATURES
“Loon Talk Cottage on Clear Lake” is a "LITTLE PIECE OF PARADISE" on the Trent Severn Waterway System in the Kawartha Lakes. It is a 1 1/2 hour drive from Toronto (20 minutes north of Peterborough or 10 minutes north of Lakefield). It is extremely well located on a flat piece of property with a southern exposure, which is great for children of all ages. It is private and has a large front yard for playing sports such as volleyball, badminton, croquet, catch, botchy ball, etc. There is an open camp fire pit near the shoreline with a large cauldron (great for lobster or corn) for your use. The 137.5’of shoreline has a small beach with excellent swimming or you can dive off of the large dock. A kayak and sail board (without sail) are also available for your use. Clear lake is excellent for bass, pickerel, perch, muskie & carp fishing. Many large fish have been caught right off of the dock. There is a 14’ 15 H.P. aluminum boat and/or a 120 H.P. bowrider pleasure/ski boat that is available for a very reasonable rental rate.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
“Loon Talk Cottage” is a non smoking cottage that is very clean, cozy and well taken care of. The front of the cottage consists of a great room (large kitchen, dining room & living room) with windows across the entire front creating a fantastic view of the lake. The kitchen is large with plenty of counter space including an island with a solid oak plank floor. It comes complete with fridge, flat ceramic top stove, dishwasher, microwave, juicer, toaster, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, new pots & pans, and a butcher’s chopping block. The living room has a stone gas fireplace, sail boat shelving unit, pull out sofa, satellite, flat screen TV and DVD. The 3 bedrooms (2 doubles & 1 king) and 4 piece bathroom are located across the back of the cottage.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
There is a small beach which is great for kids and it is shaded by a large maple tree. You can walk in from the beach for a swim or dive/jump off of the large dock. The large flat front yard is great for kids to play and for parents to keep watch. There is an outdoor shower (enclosed) that is absolutely awesome.
